The festival serves as a bridge between cultures, encouraging cultural exchange and integration. By highlighting the diversity within Indian traditions and welcoming people from all backgrounds, UTSAV promotes inclusivity and a sense of belonging for all participants.
UTSAV Key Components
UTSAV-24: A Celebration of Culture, Community, and Connection
UTSAV is designed to be a Multicultural event with live music, mesmerising dance performances, sports and dance competitions, entertaining rides for the children, and mouth-watering multi-cuisine food stalls. First ever UTSAV-24 was held on the 27th of July 2024, at the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) Rathleague, Portlaoise, was a great successful event and it attracted large crowds from across the country to Portlaoise, participants experienced the warm hospitality of local people and businesses, thereby, facilitating the exchange of Indian culture with other cultural groups including Irish culture to integrate them well. The diverse attendance from multicultural communities proved the festival’s inclusive spirit and fostered the bond among the communities.
